Super Robot Wars V is here, for example: YMMV, but I didn't have luck buying via the Switch. This account will be able to access the Hong Kong eshop. You'll be able to play any games you purchase and download with this account on your main account, not to worry. Create a new account on your Switch and set its region to Hong Kong. (I couldn't get it to work with my Mastercard, for whatever reason.) Coincidentally, I did exactly this to buy Super Robot Wars V yesterday. I wonder what they'll do now.Sorry to necro post, but I thought it was worth pointing out that it's pretty easy to set up a Hong Kong eshop account and check out using a Visa card. They have three studios at different locations, the main one for Xenoblade, the smallest one was just for asset creation for Nintendo games and then this team. I think there won't be anymore 2D RPG's for Namco anymore from Monolith Soft. that worked on games for Bandai-Namco (which is pretty unusual for a first-party studio). The timing of the departures (both resigned, and were not fired) is certainly interesting: those are not your average game developers after all, and both were part of the “special” team at Monolith Soft. He worked on games such as Xenosaga Episode I, Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings, Lost Ocean, Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier EXCEED, Project X Zone 2, and more. for even longer (16 years to be precise). Naturally, he doesn’t intend on leaving the industry right now, though it’s obviously way too early to say what his next project is going to be!Īs for Koji Ishitani, he had been at Monolith Soft. Soichiro Koizumi worked on games such as Namco x Capcom, Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier EXCEED, and Project X Zone, and had been at Monolith Soft for 14 years. For those who don’t know, those two have been at the company for many years, and both worked on the Project X Zone series (as Director and Producer respectively). Last week, both Soichiro Koizumi and Koji Ishitani announced they left Monolith Soft on March 31st.
